Selection Criteria

Preference for Black/African American female graduating high school seniors
Applicant must reside and attend high school in the service area of the Hartford Alumnae Chapter which includes Hartford County (excluding Bristol and Southington); cities and towns within, Windham or Tolland Counties; cities of Cromwell and East Hampton in Middlesex County; and the cities of Colchester and Lebanon in New London County
Planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university
Academic excellence, GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
