Selection Criteria
  • Entering or currently enrolled in a public four-year college or university in Connecticut on a full-time basis
  • Either a graduating high school senior with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, or a post high school adult learner or military veteran
  • Residing in, or attending high school in, the 29 town Greater Hartford region, with a preference for residents of Hartford, East Hartford, West Hartford, or Bloomfield
  • Pursuing studies in the areas of science, medicine, engineering or technology
  • In need of financial aid in order to attend college

Scholarships from this fund are for students residing in or attending school in the 29-town Greater Hartford region with a preference for residents of of Hartford, East Hartford, West Hartford and/or Bloomfield. It also supports military veterans in the Greater Hartford region seeking to further their education and skills to transition into civilian employment.
