- Legal resident of Connecticut
- Graduating senior from a Connecticut High School
- Demonstrated high academic standards
- Outstanding hockey ability while playing hockey during high school years (high school, town, and/or intramural team)
- Accepted into a four-year college or university with a hockey program
About This Scholarship
Although the team is no longer based in Hartford, this fund is meant to pay tribute to and perpetuate the spirit of the fans of the Whalers hockey team. The Booster Club is involved in selecting high school seniors who are outstanding in academics and as hockey players.
