Selection Criteria
- Enrolled or currently enrolled in an accredited 2-year community college, or an accredited non-profit vocational, trade, or technical school to pursue a license or certificate or associate’s degree
- Graduating high school seniors or post-high school adult learners, or currently enrolled students, who reside in or attend high school in the 29 town Greater Hartford region, with a preference for students who reside in Hartford
- Need financial aid in order to attend college/school
- Have been involved with volunteer, community service, and/or extracurricular activities, and/or paid work, especially in their trade/field of choice
