Scholarship Details
- Must be a graduating high school senior from Glastonbury, CT.
- Have financial need.
- have an ultimate goal of a bachelor’s degree and be accepted at an accredited college or university, not including business, computer, secretarial or trade school.
- Possess good citizenship qualities by being a good role model - serious, hardworking, responsible, conscientious, courteous, and sincere.
- Exhibit regular participation in work, community service (scouting, church activities, volunteerism), or school activities (athletics, music, clubs, student government).
- Not possess a criminal record or have evidence of having been in trouble with the law.
About This Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established in 1991 by the Eunice Cobb Stocking Chapter of NSDAR (The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution) in memory of Marjorie P. Nutt. Ms. Nutt was a teacher and educator for 40 years. The scholarships from this fund are for female high school seniors who are residents of Glastonbury, CT.
