  • Resident of the 29-town Great Hartford region.
  • Entering or currently enrolled in a college or university.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence.
  • Demonstrated interest in international issues.
  • Demonstrated progress in developing fluency in a foreign language and a commitment to continue foreign language study.
  • Participation in a Model UN or similar intercultural program at the high school level.
  • Have demonstrated financial need.

About This Scholarship

This fund, established by the United Nations Association of Connecticut, awards scholarships to students with financial need, have an interest in international issues;  fluency or a commitment to continue foreign language study and have participated in a Model UN or similar intercultural program.
